A.I.R. Gallery presents Sculptor’s Drawings, an exhibition of recent works on paper by Jeanne Flanagan. Her drawings and sculpture involve aspects of the human condition, the fragility of nature, and the cycle of change. The current exhibition of Flanagan’s graphite and mixed media drawings suggest floating figures, trees, and rocks. The images appear as fragmented obscurations in stages of disintegration and regeneration. They establish a tentative psychological state, evoking the transformative power of dreams and distant memories.
