A.I.R. Gallery presents small paintings and an installation by Barbara Takenaga. The installation centers around a 7 x 20 foot long painted mural titled The Long Resonance that involves public and personal signs, objects, words, and painted shadows in an associative reading, Possible narratives include the movement from one “world” to another or the co-existing of differing activities, definitions, and materials. Viewed in singly or in groups, the small paintings are acrylic or oil on masonite.
