The River at Darwin
Nijole Kudirka
February 17 - March 7th, 1998
These photographic works go further into Kudirka's examination of the imagery of water and organic forms. The river imagery presents many dualities of feeling, one of movement and change, together with stillness and constancy. Looking at the simmering patterns on the surfaces and into the denseness of the bottom layers, there is play between transparency and solidity, between the revealed and the concealed, the known and the unknown.
Opening Reception: Tuesday, February 17th, 6-8pm
