December 5 - January 6, 2007
W25thbtwn10thand11th is an examination of some of the recurring elements along one block of West 25th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues in Manhattan. The project is loosely inspired by the Nolli Maps created in a study published in Learning from Las Vegas from 1972. In this work, Tucker has recognized and mapped out some of the repetitions that occur in the signage and architectural elements along the sidewalk of this New York City block.
