Join National Women’s Liberation–NYC for a special public discussion “The Women’s March for Equality and Our Current Moment,” organized in partnership with A.I.R. Gallery to celebrate Women's History Month.

We will discuss NWL’s Birth Strike theory and how it compares to conditions women were facing during the August 26, 1970 Women’s March and Strike for Equality. In addition we’ll provide updates on news locally and around the world, focusing on reproductive issues.

This discussion is open to all those interested in discussing feminist issues.

National Women's Liberation (NWL) is a multiracial feminist group for women who want to fight male supremacy and gain more freedom for women. Their priorities are abortion and birth control, overthrowing the double day, and feminist consciousness-raising.
