Susan Stainman
Susan Stainman currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She utilizes domestic two-dimensional materials such as fabrics, haberdashery, and papers to create three-dimensional objects, which explore ideas of structure, space, and femininity. Susan has attended residencies at Vermont Studio Center and Contemporary Artist Center at Troy. She holds a BA in American Studies from Brown University as well as a BA in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art in London.
