Women Expressionists Curated by Elise Meyer and Freddi Finegood
April 3 - 21, 1984
The exhibition is viewed as a “work-in-progress” and will show works by twelve artists working in an expressionist manner. Featuring Jody Pinto, Phyllis Bramson, Helen Oji, Mary Beth Edelson, Mindy Weisel, Harmony Hammond, Judy Rifka, Ellen Buljeta, Aufte, Vivian Kerstein. The curators feel that this group of artists is indicative of a large number of women who have adopted this manner. The works chosen for this smaller show were selected to demonstrate the diversity of approaches common in today’s art.
