A.I.R. Gallery Group Show & Tribute to Tibet

A.I.R. Gallery is proud to present a group show of contemporary paintings, sculpture and photography by all twenty-three gallery artists including

Susan Bee, Stephanie Bernheim, Alex Carmel, Daria Dorosh, Angie Eng, Jessie N. Gifford, Lenore Goldberg, Regina Granne, Barbara Grinnell, Michi Itami, Louise McCagg. Sylvia Netzer, An Pachner, Beatrice Riese, Carol Ross, Barbara Roux, Elke Solomon, Nancy Storrow, Madeline Weinrib, Mimi Wlodarczyk and Janise Yntema.

Concurrently in Gallery II. A.I.R. presents "In Memory of Tibet." Tomiyo Sasaki will present a video installation and Kalsang Wangmo, traditional Tibetan thangka painting. Ms. Sasaki's installation will be on view only on Tuesday, July 21 from 2-6 pm. On the same day. Ms. Wangmo will demonstrate thangka painting in the gallery and be available to answer questions about this traditional art form. Kalsung Wangmo's exhibition of her thangka paintings will be on view for the entire duration of the exhibit. A.I.R. is presenting the work of these two women artists as part of this summer's international art event, "World Artists for Tibet."
