No Thing
Ann Pachner

May 27 – June 21, 2008

Opening reception: Thursday, May 29 from 6–8pm

No Thing is a body of work consisting of drawings and archival digital prints. Together, these explore both the nature of print as a progression of states and the more personal exploratory process of sifting into a generative place of silence through mark-making and meditation. Pachner’s lines suggest hair, water, and fire. The arc from silence to form exemplifies the process of building consciousness, recognition and resonance.
