A.I.R. Gallery marks its twentieth anniversary with a tribute exhibition of welded steel sculpture by Ann Sperry. Known for her contribution to the field of biomorphic abstraction, Sperry consistently challenges preconceptions of welded steel sculpture. Personal Interiors represents a shift for Sperry from the eternal forms of nature to the internal organs of the human body. Here, she translates forms and shapes hidden beneath the skin into welded steel constructions with lustrous polychrome surfaces.
