Rochelle Shicoff’s paintings are depictions of an internal “place.” The current paintings represent emotional experience and result in a spiritual iconography that insists upon immediate viewer involvement. In addition to the paintings, over 300 handsized wrapped fabric, yarn, feather, and thread objects, as well as handmade paper vessels coated with encaustic are in the exhibition.
