Outside New York introduces work of prominent women artists from across the country to New York City. Representing five regions, the show includes three sculptors, a painter, and an artist who works on large-scale drawings. This exhibition brings out a broad stylistic range and challenges the concept of Provincialism. The participating artists are Susan Hettmansperger, Carol Kumata, Susan Schmidt, Kathleen Schneider, and Deborah Stanitz.
