Drawings and Encaustic Paintings

This exhibition features several bodies of work by Nan Tull, including The Tropos Drawings (1993), the Chain of Events (1995) drawing series, and and her Neutrino (1995) paintings. Her earlier work is secretive, contained and strong; later work is more explosive. The integration of these divergent poles is accomplished through the simple means of charcoal, pastel and graphite on paper or encaustic board.
