A.I.R. Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition Airborne by Liz Surbeck Biddle. The exhibit of ceramic wall sculptures will be shown November 8 - December 3. The opening reception is Thursday, November 10, from 6-8pm.

This grouping reflects the general unfolding of natural events and an anxiety that is felt with the increasing tempo of global change. Imagery of circles and small life forms bring to mind unseen forces and growths that lurk beneath the surface. Swelling forms and freely applied brushstrokes suggest movement and energies about to be unleashed. Some pieces hint at a more ominous expression but the group overall is not dark in outlook, rather suggestive of great latent energies that can affect us in ways beyond our control. The strong forms and intense colors affirm humanity’s need to keep pushing onward, creating and exploring in spite of risk.
