In Invisible Float, Maher's first solo exhibition in NYC, she continues her exploration of materials that visually reference landscape. While working in the exhibition the artist draw inspiration from two extreme climates with unique geology and ongoing environmental challenges: the deserts of California near the Salton Sea, and the Icelandic tundra.
