Kim’s images are representations of the complexity of communication. They reveal her continuing interest in non verbal lagaue and the role hands and objects play in the conveyance of ideas. Her work captures the intersection of different methods of communication in daily life. In particular, she searches for a relationship between sign language and the visual language of art.
