A.I.R. Gallery is proud to present a commemorative exhibition of works by Rachel bas-Cohain. One of the gallery’s founding members, bas-Cohain was dedicated both to the collective advancement of women in art and to the unshakeable independence of her own spirit. Her art, while heterogeneous in aspect, comprises a cohesive and predominantly sculptural inquiry into the nature of vision: how (well) we see; what we (choose to) look at; how attentive we are to our observations.
