In the Place I Am Thinking Of transforms A.I.R.’s Gallery III into a secret journey space through the mind of the artist whose exploration of female sexuality is played out by the nymphs and satyrs of painting’s past lives. The Satyr whose long-standing place in mythology as the very embodiment of the masculine libido is found here in female form. These adapted satyrs are intimately engaged with the multiple nymphs who have themselves evolved from the passive receptors of male desire to the fierce negotiators of their own power and pleasure.
