Choice: Inaugural Exhibition of A.I.R. Affiliate Members Gerda Meyer Bernstein, Erin Goodwin, Nicole Jolicoeur, Nancy Storrow, Barbara Strasen

The year 1981 was a landmark one for the A.I.R. Gallery as it moved Into a new exhibition space at 63 Crosby Street and Instituted a program to respond to the needs of women artists from across the country. The A.I.R. Affiliate Program will consist of ten artists who will show in a group exhibition once every two years, five at a time. A number of artists from outside New York were invited to present their work to the A.I.R. Membership for acceptance into this new program which recognizes the high quality of work being made in places other than New York.
