In her installation of sculpture, photographs and narrative text, Birds Grow on Trees, Barbara Roux continues her engagement with wild habitat niches on the verge of suburban New York. An active conservationist and combined- media artist, Roux utilizes her experiences working daily in wild areas to create works that are layered with meaning. This exhibition focuses on a small forested, wetland cove on the north shore of Long Island.
