Another Choice: Third National A.I.R. Gallery Affiliate Members Exhibition Gerda Meyer Bernstein, Nicole Jolicoeur, Diane Samuels, Nancy Storrow, Faith Wilding

During the 1981-82 season, A.I.R. Gallery initiated a program of inviting women artists from outside the metropolitan New York area to become Affiliate Members of the first women's cooperative gallery. Ten women were chosen to show in group exhibitions of five Members on alternating years. The Third National A.I.R. Gallery Affiliate Members Exhibition, “Another Choice," will take place from January 31 through February 18. It will feature the work of Gerda Meyer Bernstein, Nicole Jolicoeur, Diane Samuels, Nancy Storrow and Faith Wilding. Although stylistically and geographically diverse, all of this year's Affiliate Members concern themselves with images, whether they are strongly representational or merely referential.
